WOW!!! ALMOST ON VACATION.
so i am almost on vacation. that is the best news i have had in a while. i can't wait till december. i am so ready for a break. the work is slowing down a bit but its not bad. its good to have something to look forward to here shortly. i am a bit disappointed in the way the election went but what do we do when good men don't run for the office? i still think that costa rica may be a good place to ride out the storm for a bit. i am looking forward to the time off. maybe i will take advantage of the time at home to get myself secured and ready to accomplish a bunch of my goals. work might be changing to home if i can get some things worked out right. anyway, i am looking forward to seeing all of you or at least most or some of you who i can. take care and see you soon. december 15th i will be in salt lake city. it will be a hurricane trip as i have a lot to do. but there is always time for family and friends.

I'm so excited to see you. It Your Dad coming for the holidays also? December will be here before you know it!
unfortunately dad will have to stay here. he doesn't have the leave accrued yet. we will definitely miss him though. can't wait to see everyone.
I can't wait for your vacation too! so we can see you! Thanks for what you wrote to me on my sera monster blog. Sorry it's taken me so long to respond! Children do keep you humble. I know I tried my best with my parents - to keep them humble that is. My mom reminds me that she helped pack my bags several times because I wanted to run away to Grandma's house and live with her instead of at home. Jared has threatened to move out, but so far he hasn't gotten so far as to actually pack his bags.
I do love my parents - very much. It makes me hurt sometimes to think of how much I love them and how much they mean to me. So maybe there is hope that my children will love me like that too someday. No, I do think they love me - especially since I just went up to Mom's house with my Mom for a girl's getaway! I'll have to do it more often - Joe might not like that idea though, when I got home he said, "You can never leave me again." I think he may have missed me the most.
My kids are just lucky they have you as their uncle and all the rest of our wonderful family that they can threaten me to move in with! I hope all the examples and love from their family will help balance out all my mistakes!
We love you Jake. You are a great friend to me and my children. We keep you in our prayers always.
